YUAN was founded in 2005. The company's soaps are handcrafted using traditional techniques and Taiwanese herbs as their main ingredients

The herbs in YUAN soaps are locally grown on the company's farm in the mountains of Taiwan using natural farming methods. In 2008, the YUAN International Research and Development Center was launched to advance the company's herbal innovations. 

In addition to handmade soaps, YUAN has developed a full range of personal care products all based on the large variety of herbs grown on the company's farm. 

YUAN's products can be found in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China, and the company is looking to expand to more international markets.

“Taiwan Beauty Alliance” is organized by the Bureau of Foreign trade, MOEA and implemented By TAITRA. The Alliance currently has 23 members comprising the leading companies in the Taiwan beauty industry. The members of the Alliance are selected based on various criteria including brand strength, degree of innovation, certification, production in Taiwan, and overseas market potential.
